The Niles Audio SWA-500M Subwoofer Amplifier is a Class D mono amplifier that offers up to 500 Watts of power and is designed to power up to two passive (non-powered) subwoofers - ideally the Niles Audio SW10JM 10-Inch Passive Joist-Mount Subwoofer and/or SW10WM 10-Inch Passive Wall-Mount Subwoofer (Each), each sold separately. When combined with high quality subwoofers, the SWA-500M will provide excellent bass reinforcement for home theater and home audio applications. Bass or low frequency effect (LFE) is a critical part of a well designed audio/video system - so installing the right amplifier for your subwoofer(s) will give you that thunderous, accurate bass that makes movies and music so exciting.
