1978, Niles has been a solutions–based company. The company’s first
product was a switching system designed to help audio retailers
demonstrate speakers and amplifiers. These switchers were highly
effective at simplifying the retail selling process. The salesperson no
longer had to manually disconnect and reconnect wires every time a
customer wanted to audition a different component.
